Men's Ministry
The Case for Faith by Lee Strobel
Skeptics of Christianity are everywhere, boldly asking tough questions in order to disprove the faith. Doubt no more! Get your hands on The Case for Faith and take heart! Author Lee Strobel, a journalist, investigated the toughest objections to Christianity and found solid answers. Whatever intellectual or emotional objections one has to the Christian faith are directly refuted by Strobel's honest and thorough discoveries.
Come join us every
Thursday morning from 7:30-8:30am in the conference room. |

Music Ministry
Chancel Choir
Our Choir continues to grow and provides beautiful and meaningful music to our worship services. We urge you to become a part of this talented and dedicated group. Just gargle, breathe from your diaphragm, and unleash your desire to sing aloud! All are welcome to join and learn more about the melodic ways to worship. How do you join? See or contact our Music Director, or call the church office. There is always room for a willing soprano, alto, tenor, baritone, or bass. OK, that's everyone who wants to sing! The Chancel Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings, 6:30-7:30pm.
Handbell Choir
We're told that "anyone who can count can play the bells." So, if you want to play music, but think you can't, then try the bell choir. This choir plays periodically throughout the year and is an important part of our worship services at special occasions. If you would like to join, see our Music Director or contact the church office. This choir rehearses on Sundays after the Fellowship Hour.
Children's Opportunities for Expression
Including our children in worship extends beyond the Children's Message each week! As special events and holidays come, we have opportunities for our children to lead the worship in song, handbells, drama and mission extensions. Many of our adults come forward to help in this effort to keep our children engaged and growing in their knowledge of how to worship the Lord. Those children age three and over are invited to be a part of practices and presentations as scheduled. |

Woman's Groups
Presbyterian Women at College
Park Presbyterian Church are organized into
two circles:
Faith Circle meets 2nd Wednesday of the month at 10:30 in Conference Room. Faith Circle is currently studying "Dispatches to God's Households: The Epistles"; a Horizon's study.
Grace Circle meets the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room unless otherwise announced. Grace Circle is currently studying "Esther: It's Tough Being Woman", a Beth Moore study.
In addition, both circles
participate in national, local, and congregational
missions that enhance the lives of all people
from the perspectives of women of faith.
Circles are
an extension of the church and all women
are invited to participate and take part
in the variety of activities meant to challenge
and stretch and reach into the lives of
others who have needs. Circles provide an
opportunity for women in a congregation
to nurture new and old friendships and to
strengthen the church family. In addition,
the close relationships formed in circles
give rise to leadership opportunities and
the richness that comes when groups of women
grow together in the faith; learn to support
each other as well as communities outside
of the church; and discover the effectiveness
of group work in the name of Jesus Christ.
Although the Presbyterian
Women of College Park can often be found
in hospitality activities, their work is
far broader and inclusive than the images
sometimes portrayed. Women of College Park
can be found in every aspect of church life. |

The Big Give
What started out as a small idea has really
turned into a Big Give. Pastor Jeff gave
$100 each to 3 congregation members with
the challenge to affect the community for
Christ. What resulted was more than anyone
could have expected. Check out the video
below to see what happened! Amazingly "The
Big Give" is still giving long after
the Church "contest" was over.
Contact us here at College Park Presbyterian
Church to find out how you can be involved
in The Big Give.
